5. I hate to say this but I disagree.

I think Bette's voice is better. Don't get me wrong; I adore Barbra. I'd just rather listen to Bette. :shrug:

This question is purely subjective. *I* think Streisand has a better voice...she's done Broadway, almost all kinds of musical genres. Streisand just has a more...accomplished voice, I guess. But again...it's purely subjective. It IS a difficult choice. :-)

It's like fingers on a chalkboard. All that breathless pumping of the words, and forced vibrato. It's like taking the world's best violin and playing it with a hammer. She has wonderful pipes, but how can you listen to the WAY she sings? It's all so artificial sounding!

My favorite is hearing my wife sing in the shower - preferably whilst we're washing each other's parts. I admit it. I'm just a dirty, semi-old man.
