7. We are so proud of our Senator Boxer.

Been proud of her since seeing her on C Span 12 years ago and giving Newt Hell in the House...Three cheers for Marin county..Too bad Feinstein did not drink from the same trough.
Here in San Diego a group of local Democrats sat in on her office before Jan. 6...When she made us proud, they went back like Jan. 8 with flowers...The local staff was so surprised..

I needed this picture this morning.

My Sen. Boxer story: Got a call late one evening, could I come downtown next morning and help a friend do stage make-up for a TV show "about some lawyers"? No problem, have done make-up for years for a huge amateur theater company. First victim, nice lady in a suit. Then someone comes over and says "Senator Boxer, I wanted to thank you for....." and my heart just about stopped. Turns out "a bunch of lawyers" was a Fred Friendly seminar on PBS with Justice Breyer, Al Haig, Barney Frank, Nadine Strossen and others. Sen. Boxer was lovely, and didn't even comment that my hands were shaking. Got to do her nails as well once I calmed down.

can do. How much does 5000 roses cost? About $20,000. And that's just for flowers that will die in a couple days. Imagine how much money we can get together for the upcoming elections so we can finally turn back the tide since 2000's (s)election and take back our country!
