In the World of I'm Not Kidding - Buy "Ronald Reagan's Greatest Laughs"

In "Ronald Reagan's Greatest Laughs" you'll laugh as the Gipper uses wit:

to expose big government
to defeat the Evil Empire
to take the Democrats to task
to learn from children
to make light of his deficiencies and weaknesses
to take on the liberal press like Sam Donaldson
to make light of fellow conservatives
to live a happier, smarter life
and much, much more.

Who in God's name would buy crock like that.

How about Reagan's laughs as AIDS starts spreading rampently throughout the United States while his administration fails to contribute any money to stop it.

Or this great laugh - When Reagan sent Donald Rumsfeld to meet with Saddam Hussein so the US could help provide weapons and money for Hussein's army (including bio/chem weapons)

Here's a great knee slapper - Iran-Contra. I about piss myself laughing just thinking about that one

Ok this old family favorite - How Reagan decided to make Ketchup a fruit so they could classify for use in the School Lunch programs and help cut money from the budget in this area.

1. I saw that the other day.

I almost barfed. Yes, the tragicomedic responses to that CD are endless.

On a related note: I plan to brush up on the real Reagan in the coming months. Not the mythical Reagan.

This piece of human garbage will be expiring soon, and the bogus glorification of this son of a bitch is going to kick into hyperdrive. I'd like to be armed with the facts about this friend to genocidal dictators abroad and corporate criminals and evangelical fascists at home.

Sounds hateful? His record merits the hatred of all decent people.

Any good bios or essays out there?

What a scary thought! Even scarier because it's plausible. Oh god!

8. My vote is disturbing
And I've constantly reminded people that there's a Republican who promised to introduce legislation to put Clinton's face up there if Clinton's 1993 tax plan "created jobs, balanced the budget, and eliminated the deficit."

It did, he didn't.

6. For a new generation of neo-cons
I remember TV ads from years ago (a Google search tells me 1985), for a video called "Stand Up Reagan".

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0090063/

It wasn't funny then either.

7. He who laughs last, laughs best.
Remember this one?

"the bombing will commence in 5 minutes"

Oh, that Ronnie! Such a crackerjack! Oh stop Ronnie...you're killing me.

10. Does it include his latest pants-crapping incident?
/where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

(OK. I made a disgusting joke. Please know that I don't find Alzheimers the least bit funny, nor would I wish it upon anyone. That being said, I defy anyone here to admit that they were surprised when Old Ray-Gun's condition was announced. Personally, I thought "Yeah. That makes sense.") <--- longest parenthetical statement ever.
