5 songs = 8 1/2 years of airplay! Or, why I stopped listening to the radio

Sam and Dave fan, in no small part because of your Saturday night show and my own musical tastes.

5. I stopped listening to popular music stations years ago.

Never could stomach MTv and the like.

I buy CD's based on references from friends or happening to hear something on a soundtrack.

I listen to the net radio, even pay for one to get away from commercials, I get to hear music I have'nt heard in years and some I've never heard before.

I have never even heard mention of those five songs...much less heard them.....Where's U2 or Tracy Chapman, or Bob Seger? No wonder CD sales are down.........
