Poll question: life's a bitch, and then you die.
sorry to those who are offended by that word. i embrace it, but i ask your indulgence.

but that's not the point.
i am just having one of those spots in life where all the things you worked so hard to put in place to deal with your problems just sort of melt in the rain.
so, life's a bitch, and then you die. does that sum it up for you?

1. or you marry one.
Seriously though, I don't know why people have problems with the word bitch. In my family, the females wear the term as a badge of honor. We've always felt that it showed our power/strength to be able to yank peoples chains to the extent they have to resort to calling names.

Chances are that if you call someone in my family a bitch, we'll smile and say thank you.

4. You have three jobs to accomplish in life:
1) Get born. If your reading this, congradulations... you're 1/3 of the way through your job.

2) Die. Don't worry about this one, it'll be taken care of for you.

3) Live. Stop bitching and go do the 1/3 of your job you have some control over. You are more powerful than you know.

6. that then you die part can't happen soon enough for me
I feel like I'll never get my life back on track at this point. Is it just me or do other people have those times when they pray for death just to end the total shithammering they feel like they are receiving at the moment?

8. I feel you!
And it has turned out for me that neither life nor death is The Answer. Now I choose to live because the change of being is simply too much of an extra hassle!

HANG ON anyway!

11. ThanxI think I'm
too tired to go get a permit, go shop for a gun, and them pull the trigger. Too much work, there must be an easier way, I'm too lazy to bother, so I am forced to live. That's actually a song by Debbie Harry, "Forced To Live". I usually listen to it when I feel down.

9. i keep saying
if your life sucks, and you don't think about suicide, you aren't really considering all your options.
it's funny, tho. it's raising my kids that makes me feel like that is the only way out, but it is the price they would have to pay that keeps me from seriously considering it. a conundrum.

and I got my aunt who needs me to take her to the VA and help her get to the potty and back. Ever notice children and elderly and/or handicapped adults sort of represent the beginning and ending stages of life? They both need the same care, but one isn't going to be able to take care of themselves again...

i come from a big family, and didn't have to do too much to take care of my mom, or my mother-in-law. it would have killed me to be the meat in that sandwich FOR SURE!!!

13. I've been there.

I didn't off myself, and I've been walking dead ever since.

Now I've got an ulcer--my first grandchild is due next week and the stress of watching fascism take over this country completely and knowing that I am going to inevitably suffer the most humiliating and painful death possible, because that's what fascists do to people like me, has taken its toll. I wish I had killed myself, I wish I could still do it, and instead all I have is this ulcer and no hope whatsoever.

I've been getting my things in order and taking part in what activism I can, but I have no hope.
