9. I'm sorry, but L'bach is closer to Austin
than it is to West Texas.

It's located southeast of Fredericksburg, in the hill country.

5. There are a couple things wrong with that map..
Dallas and Austin are not mentioned and there are no major cities listed for North Carolina, Ohio, Arkansas, West Virginia, or Maine.

22. Route 66 Is No More
Except for a few stretches of the old highway in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona, Route 66 was replaced by I-44 and I-40. I was looking forward to traveling on Route 66 during my first trip west in 1993 - I was very disappointed to find most of the Mother Road gone.

14. sorta

It's obviously designed with German, French, Spanish, and Japanese tourists in mind. German tourists tend to hit Florida, New York/Boston/Phillie/DC, the German Triangle in the Midwest and Great Plains, the Texas Hill Country, and some other places they've seen on TV- California, Vegas, Atlantic City, and for some reason desert Western places like Zion NP. Cajun country is something of French tourist destination. Japanese tourists focus on the Pacific Northwest and California and the big cities of the coastal northeast.

I have no idea why all these cities around Nashville are listed. I think older Country Music has for some bizarre reason caught on in wierd corners of the world, like France and Germany iirc, which could be some kind of explanation. SLC is probably on there for overseas Mormon converts.

Look at the cities that made the map. The one that sticks out to me is Branson. It's all for tourists.

25. click on the "national Parks" link. it changes from cities to
national parks, the only ones east of the Mississippi that are shown are
Acadia, Smokey Mountains and Everglades.

Not even Gettysburg, and where did they lose Mammoth Cave??
