4. Oh, yeah! And Bailey's Irish cream will work fine if you don't have the
ingredients on hand for the Alexanders, and there's been say, an earthquake or a blizzard or some other event.

5. So how does one make this drink?
Inquiring minds want to know. I'm getting tired of wine and beer and feel the need to branch out to the world of cocktails.

7. Depends on the recipe.
There are two basic recipes.

One involves brandy, dark creme de cacao, heavy cream, with grated nutmeg as a topping, and is shaken.

The other involves brandy, dark creme de cacao, ice cream, and can be made in a blender.

The two constant ingredients are the booze - brandy and dark creme de cacao.

Either way, it tastes like a milkshake, and can get you very drunk in a very short period of time if you aren't paying attention.

Google "brandy alexander recipe" and you'll see how many variations there are. There's even one called "brandy alexandra" which uses light creme de cacao instead of dark.

8. A Brandy Alexander is a crucial character in the James Bond
short story, Risico, in "For Your Eyes Only".
Fleming was a much better short-story writer than a novelist.

This contains the best short story I have ever read. See if
you can guess.
