Seriously, Does "Lost" Rock or What?
Man, I thought that network TV was no longer able to create a great show ever again, and then along comes "Lost". The show gets better and better, week after week. Hell, I teared up a little when I thought that Charlie had died.

1. I cancelled my cable over two years ago
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 09:57 PM by Downtown Hound
but I'm seriously thinking about getting it again just for Lost because I hear such good things about it. I know it's on network TV but reception sucks where I live so it would have to be cable. But Lost sounds right up my alley, surreal, wierd, and kinda spooky.

5. Gotta agree, IT ROCKS!!
I had almost stopped watching TV entirely because I can't stand reality shows. I was so happy when Lost turned out to be a very well-done, well-acted series. I look forward to it each week now.

13. SPOILERS !
Edited on Fri Feb-11-05 12:51 PM by redqueen
They captured Ehtan, and were going to question him, but Charlie decided it would be a good way to prove to himself that he in fact *could* take care of someone. He did that by executing Claire's kidnapper, when they really did need to be able to find out what's going on.

Did you not see it? There were a lot of flashback sequences about Charlie... it was a good episode.

Claire seems really different now, too... not so cheerful. The change in her kinda creeps me out.

I thought they were on at different times, now... ?

Oh, I know... kill your roommate! ;)

Seriously, though... could you visit a friend who watches, maybe? I couldn't stand missing it. It's one of my favorite escapes from reality. :)

21. Awww, I'm sorry...
I guess if you're still interested you could rent the DVD later.

One suggestion, though: if you're a Sawyer fan you MUST watch next week!

22. About Ethan
I thought that his name "Ethan Rom" was rather strange. I also thought is was strange that Hurley spelled out Ethan's name when he did his census. So anyway, I put his name into an internet anagram finder, and the most interesting one I got was "Other man". I don't think this is a coincidence.

The hour flies by so fast! I really wish Charlie hadn't done that though. It's my second favorite show after Arrested Development.

I haven't watched much network other than what my GF drags me in to watch (mostly law and order). So what is this show about?

27. OK
48 people surive a plane crash in the Pacific.

There is something strange on the island.

There is something strange about the island.

Each show uses flashbacks to slowly fill in character development for the roughly ten or so survivors who are the main cast members.

Sometimes the back stories will just knock your socks off and sometimes the main story will.

Getting a little into spoiler territor;

At least one person thought to be a survivor was not on the plane when it crashed.

And there is a crazy french woman who has been living on the island for 16 years.
