What about a DU group for Women with Thinning, Damn Near Extinct Hair?
I HATE HATE HATE my hair. I keep it cut short because it's so fine and thin. I blame it on hypothyroidism (although mine is treated), middle age and having a bald father. Wish I could just shave the damn stuff off. Can't believe this used to be me:

Anyone want to join my group?

2. What a beautiful picture. And yes, you did have a beautiful
head of hair. I love that little yellow dress too. Real cute. :D

3. My hair isn't thinning
It's always been hopeless. I have never met anyone with finer, thinner hair than mine. I keep it long enough to wear up because it looks awful down.

5. Meet me!
I couldn't grow it long enough to put it up..it's too scraggly. I call it "peach fuzz".

If I had all the money I have spent on hair products..I wouldn't need Social Security.

4. I'll join it
Wish I had some suggestions for you, I've tried everything. However, my hair was never good. The first thing that happened after I was born was my hair fell out. My mom still tells the tale. :-(

I'm assuming you saw the other thread where I was advised to just use clips and hairpieces? Argh. People really don't understand that baby-fine hair won't hold accessories. And even if it did, how can you go through life with crap on your head? My friend has a Hair Club For Men. Yeah, it looks nice...but that thing is glued to his head. He's miserable with it and always glad when he can dispense with it.

I wish women could shave their heads and say hell with it.

It's frustrating.

I don't have hypothyroidism. Part of the problem is lifelong, and part of the problem seems to come with hormonal issues. Not to give TMI but I have a fibroid that occasionally acts up. :-( So the worst of the problem comes and goes. At its worst, a friend asked if I should take a pregnancy test because, "When I was pregnant, my hair fell out too." At its best, it looks fairly normal and even grows a little.

What to do, what to do.

HELP!

Doctors sure as heck haven't been any.

even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

6. It makes no difference
it is what you are on the inside that makes so attractive.

9. lol
My hair used to be straight as all hell - in the seventies in high school when girls were ironing their hair mine was down to my butt and completely straight. Now it's a combo of straight and curls - for GAWD'S sake be straight or be curly but DON'T BE BOTH. OMG my hair is never, EVER symmetrical. :o
