Who wants to see what our 15 week SONOGRAM looks like?

Something like that only not in color.

10 fingers and 10 toes. Normal heart rate. Everything seems to be very normal. No need for an amniocentesis(we didn't want one). Could NOT tell the sex though-it had its legs crossed and wouldn't open them up.

Momma is doing great.

Side note: When our youngest was born, MrG really wanted to know the sex, but the baby never cooperated. We found out the day before he was born that he was a "he". I had an ultrasound and then got an "It's a Boy!" cigar and took it to MrG at work...then I promptly when home only to have my water break...:7

Actually we just wanted to know what sex it was (Hey! it will be a surprise either now or then why not now) but no luck yesterday. Maybe at the 20 week sonogram.

Quick story: our son's wife was told by her doc she was going to have a Sarah Belle. Only SB came out with an extra appendage; Zachary Jordan was born. So much for sending her all those cute little baby girl clothes. :silly:
So we don't trust docs or sonograms 100%, though Madison Elizabeth was born last year and the doc and sono were spot on this time.

but if you see scrotum (or 3 parallel lines for a girl,)

On a serious note.....Really? You'd like to know the sex? We signed a waiver stating that stated that we didn't want to be told. We figured it was more fun that way.

This is the first grandkid for both families (very possibly the only) so this kid is going to be spoiled rotten and I will have to enforce the rules after they leave each time.

22. We were lucky.....

Our first was not the first grandkid on either side, although the first on my side of the family did live 1200 miles away....and my mother-in-law lives a few hours away as well. I've never had a father-in-law.

My folks didn't fawn over our kids too much. Besides, they really come in handy sometimes, you don't want to get them too pissed off. Once we told everyone that we had no intentions of getting our son baptized, that kinda put the breaks on having any kind of traditional arrangement.

Don't let them push you around, but always begrudgingly take the cash. Or at least act begrudged. :evilgrin:

It's pretty amazing to see the baby. Are you getting another one? A post-20 week one often is really cool in that you can sometimes get a good look at the face.

19. Ours Was Free

They did the whole measuring thing, then they popped the tape in and got a show. She kicked turned her head...they got a forward on view of her face, which really looked like her in retrospect. At least when she was born.

Pretty amazing stuff. Bored all our friends to tears with it.
