If you toss a little piece of lunchmeat his way, he springs forward and his jaws snap on it like a great white shark's. Food never hits the ground. If you try to hand it to him, you're liable to get your finger bitten. It's very painful. :o

What does yours do?

1. ummm....are you feeding this cat enough?
just kidding. mine is very cautious. he examines everything before he eats it. i have seen him catch mice or birds in midair when they try to leap away from him though.

2. Your cat lets you toss it his way?
Mine jumps up on the counter and right in the bowl and starts eating. He doesn't ask permission. It tastes better stolen.

6. Our other cat does that.
He doesn't do entertainment for his food, he just slinks up while you're not looking and paws part of your burrito off the plate.

4. I had a cat, when he was hungry
he will leap from the counter top into my arms. It was so cool. It was remarkable because he was one of those nervous cats who didn't even like to be held.

8. I have a bottle of Pounce treats &
I'll shake it, she comes running - and I take off the lid & hold it out for her. She examines it, tilts her little head from side to side & then reaches in, grabs one & puts it right in her mouth.

A lot of cats probably do this - but I just think it's so cute. :)

9. Mine will eat flies and moths in mid-air
But wants to spend at least 2 full minutes sniffing and examining anything I might offer her, even if it's a favorite (shrimp, sushi, etc.)
