16. The whole Daily Show is awesome!
And to think, I was living in Williamsburg while Jon was going to W&M...we probably ran into each other at basketball and football games...sigh....perhaps we were both in the mobs that used to crush Bruce Hornsby (a Williamsburgh native) asking for autographs when he came to games...LOL...not that I'm a name-dropper, mind you...but I dined in the same toney restaurant in Williamsburg with Johnny Carson, and saw Joan Rivers walking down a colonial street...etc...etc...

;)

18. Dave's cool, and most of his stuff I find very funny...
...but some of his stuff is too hard-edged for me, kills my laugh buzz. I watch him, tho.

25. No lie
I was reading one of his books, the one where he details his job as one of Santa's elves. I was eating cereal and I starting laughing so hard I chocked. And then I kept reading it over and over again. I don't ever remember laughing that long and hard over the same thing.

It has something to do with the line at the ladies' room.

I love all of those mentioned, but his one-liners are priceless.

21. YAY-YAY-YAY-YAY!!!
You have to have a good sense of humor about yourself and your politics if you find Larry funny! We ain't his natchural stitchuency, ya know.

The funniest thing about him to me is, the guy playing "Larry" is a college-educated Nebraska native who is likely way more liberal than his character, from what I can tell.

One of the funniest people ever. He must be getting pretty old by now. Have to add Red Skelton to the list of funny people I grew up with.

22. Good choices...especially since they have something in common...
Both suffered from depression, and their comedy came out of that like a flower from soil.

I guess I'd add Robin Williams...he has made me laugh a lot.

Mo Gaffney, Dawn French, Chris Rock, Richard Pryor, Jennifer Saunders, John Cleese, Wanda Sykes......I'm sure I'll think of more.

I saw Michael Moore try and play nice with the Cable Guy on Jimmy Kimmel's show last year.Maybe he was sticking to his redneck character but he came off as an unfunny prick.
