Anyone else notice tonight's ABC lineup?
I mean, after "Monday Night Football" is over for another season, it just goes to absolute crap.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition: How'd They Do that?
The Bachelorette
Supernanny

Total crap.

2. I have to admit
I kind of enjoy Supernanny. They always start out with totally disfunctional parents and absolutely terrible kids. By the end, the nanny has them (at least that's the impression they leave) functioning nearly normally.

The parents are always a hoot. They never think about what the are doing and they always claim the Nanny just doesn't understand their "unique" situation. Total Denial.

4. I've only seen Supernanny once, but I agree. It's a good show.
It could actually do people some good. I got some good ideas from it. If only the other "reality " shows were more like it.

5. I would swear there are 3 nanny shows
Fox has one, ABC and probably NBC. I just laugh when they talk about how "further media consolidation" would cut down on the choices for the viewers.

My take on the Nanny thing is that just like Jane Woodhouse said about dogs, there are no bad kids just parents without the skills to put things right.

The thing that really bugs me about the nanny shows is that they cut out the part when the nanny sits the parents down and goes through everything they are doing wrong. That would help a lot of people in similar situations but I guess it would destroy the "magic" of the show.

6. I HATE HATE HATE all the "reality shows"
It's just a cheap way to avoid paying for actors, actresses, writers, nice sets etc.. It's just voyeur TV, and I hope it goes away soon :)
