Have you ever typed "LOL" even though you weren't laughing out loud?

I'm imagining all of these internet users rolling on the floor, laughing until their asses literally come off, yet still mustering up the strength to cordially inform their fellow chatters of their status. Does it make me abnormal if I've never actually done that?

If I think a post is funny enough to type LOL, I am really laughing out loud. I'm a depressive type so it's not easy to make me laugh.

LOL, for me, is used to show amusement -- I tend to use a more tame "lol" (note the case) when something mildly amuses me, and the all caps version of the same when I'm greatly amused.

7. No, I use "tee hee" when I think it's funny but I'm not LOL.

For me, LOL = about one ha. LMAO = two or three "ha's," or a pretty good chuckle. ROTFLMAO means I've really cracked up and people in the office are looking at me funny.

It's pretty easy to make me laugh, though; especially in the KOEB threads. :evilgrin:

As long as I make some sort of noise, I consider it LOL. But, I usually get more LOLs than I give.
