We saw this for the first time last night. I know it's dated, but it was very powerful. Edward Norton was incredible. Thoughts, or should I move this to somewhere that cares?

1. That movie should be mandatory for ALL high school students.

Then they should be foreced to memorize and interpret the Bill of Rights.

Great acting, great story, very chilling. Norton's got it!

haven't seen it yet. I think Edward Norton could be up there with Sean Penn as an actor.

too bad the director had a hissy fit over editing. Norton deserved an Oscar for that film but since the director and he had a public spat that ended any hope for him to win. Furlong was also quite good. An amazing film.

isn't that the point? That's why I really liked it. It is a thinking person's movie, but hopefully people with alternate views might have embraced it.

And that shit happens. I saw it by proxy when my sister came home covered in blood. These fuckers would come to our house bragging about how they broke a niggers face. Scumbags, but real. Amazing what you can get a young kid to go along with (even believe) when they need meth.

Of course, it was a bit uncomfortable watching the deleted scenes with my brother when my ex-girlfriend, who was black, was in the room. ("Monkey n***** bitch!" etc.)
