I've never seen one, not even a part of one.

21. I really don't care....
Do you?

I watch so little television. Local evening news when I come home from work, some PBS over the weekends. Mostly old movies that I have taped and are worth watching many times. Just finished "Giant" today. Think I might do a bit of "Out of Africa" tomorrow.

Nor do I have cable. Most of the time, the tube is turned off.

47. Leslie (the Elizabeth Taylor character)...
was an extremely strong woman for a movie of that time. As she was in the Edna Ferber book, but it is a nice change from so many of the women in movies at that time. And not a harridan as so many "strong" women in movies were in those days, either. I've long thought that was Elizabeth Taylor's best role. Also love "The Last Time I Saw Paris."

Taylor is so freaking gorgeous in that movie that she makes the film for me.

half naked (the plumber has a wonderful chest and some nice abs)! I am not afraid to admit it - I have watched Desparate Housewives and have laughed! It is entertaining.

I have never expected anything on television to be realistic. It is for entertainment.

Reality T.V. is not real and it sucks! :puke:

In this day and age, fundies would freak :freak:. Hell, they won't even show Mickey Rooney's 84 year old ass in the commerical he did for the Super Bowl. Crazy fools are going backward in time. (Not that I want to see his old ass, its just that things have gotten so damned stupid. Morans!)

The half nekkid men are nice.

Who the heck cares if Mickey Rooney drops his towel and for a nano second we see is wrinkley old ass? Faux, the station airing the Super Bowl ruled it was too controversial and won't allow it.

Backwards, ass-f'ckin backwards, that is the direction of our nation!

45. I haven't seen it
Nor have I seen ANY of the "reality" TV shows.I only saw a part of"the swan" because it was on a TV where I was waiting. It sucked. In fact it was sick and it sucked. Plastic surgery so OTHER PEOPLE will like you, that's sad.Plastic surgery because you want it for pleasing yourself is different.
I watch comedy central, cartoon network mostly adult swim, history or discovery or C Span once in a blue moon tech TV.. And most of the time the stuff on those channels is crap too..Tv in general just sucks.TV news is a joke.I guess the"newsies" can still do the weather without adding in neurolinguistics and other bullshit. However you get an inch of snow and the hysterics verge on comical,as you wait 20 minutes to see the damn radar scan to look and see how it's going.I could give a shit about the stoopid fluff "running commentaries" these news shows do~even on the weather now. It's obscene.Things were better when the news was only on at 6 am 6 pm and 11 for a half hour.To me sports is a waste,I wish they'd just keep that shit confined to sports channels where sport fans can watch it all day. I say this Because I don't give a shit about sports including the damn olympics..There is too much serious shit in this life to worry about ,than to get worked up over sports. There is stuff far more interesting and rewarding for ME to learn and do,rather than watch a bunch of buff millionaires hired by mega millionaires chase balls around. If I want to see ball chasing I'll play with my cats, they are better athletes than humans anyway more graceful and beautiful too.And it's interactive..I can't play football with a bunch of pros and enjoy it like I do with my cats and I won't get any broken bones that way. :)

Not that I'm criticizing the show...I have heard good things and bad things. But why do I know so much about shit I don't even consume? It's ubiquitous.

When Teri Hatcher is being shown I watch until the scene ends- I really find her charming. (Even in her Radio Shack ads, actually.) Eva Longoria sometimes too (I wish they'd show more Latina women in prime time, really), but her character's games just bore me.

nor am I the least bit interested in watching it. Family values and all that stuff...I don't think I watch a thing that is on any of the major networks...My evening TV viewing tends to be the History Channels and Discovery Channels, CNN and that's about it. I don't watch much TV in the first place. I'ld rather surf the net/DU or read a book/magazine.

124. Never seen an episode.
It's one of those completely self-generated phenomena, I think, like "Survivor," the first season. I never met a single person in real life who had seen an episode, yet the network's PR department was working overtime to make me think EVERYONE was watcking it except for me. Fuck that.

You don't need to see an episode of "Desperate Housewives" to know what it's about, to know that it's pure formula, and to know that it's complete and utter shit.

I have a TV, but it's only for old episodes of MST 3K on tape and Conan O'Brien.

132. Me! Me! But maybe I'll see one soon. We're going on a trip soon
and there will be a TeeVee in the hotel room.

See, when we go tot a hotel, we don't get all excited about the usual stuff people get excited about. We are all over watching the TV. It's fun for the first 24 hours, and then we remember that there's nothing good on and that's why we got rid of the cable right after the first Shrub ascension.

But it's fun to see an episode of the "hot show" if we can. Then we rent the DVDs a few years later. We're on the third season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" right now.
