Cate gets a dressing down

STATE Government MP Cate Molloy has been given a dressing-down over her new push for nudist beaches in Queensland.

The self-avowed skinny-dipper has reignited the nudist debate after writing to Premier Peter Beattie, calling on him to consider clothing-optional beaches.

Ms Molloy said she was "staggered" Queensland did not have any nude bathing areas.

"I would have thought health, transport, education, urban planning and environmental issues are much more pressing priorities than getting your gear off," Mr McArdle said.
