5. Gooood Saturday Morning to You!
Sorry...couldn't resist. I empathize with your plight, having dragged ass out of bed on weekend mornings to w**k on numerous occasions. This isn't one of those occasions, however, but I DO feel your pain! I'm just exhibiting one of those traits of the aging - going to bed with the chickens & getting up at the buttcrack of dawn. I suppose that, before long, I'll have the sleeping habits of a Norwegian bachelor farmer.

11. So Far So Good
I'm off to the supermarket soon, trying to avoid the crowds before the day progresses too far. Since the flu is 'widespread' in my already-red state, I've been avoiding gatherings of any sort. I don't really understand why KY is at this stage; no surrounding states are at this level - and it's not like KY is a huge magnet for tourism or anything.

12. We're having a weird problem with it too.
A good chunk of the schools in East TN were closed Friday and will be closed on Monday as well. Have fun at the grocery store! :)

I was snatching up cans like a madman, expecting this guy to show up at any second and put an end to my joy!

17. I agree.
I am on call so I have to do rounds today and tomorrow and still go to work next week without a day off. Yuk! As much as I love my job, this morning, I'm glad that I am leaving it in 2 months. At least the pager didn't go off last night, but I have to see 5 kids today. Oh, well, I see my fiance this afternoon. :loveya:

19. So you're the one....
Actually, being on-call for this job is better than the only I had in graduate school. That one was dangerous. When I had to go out, I would go to a vacant building that wasn't visible to the street at all hours of the night and day. At least now, I pick the time (within some reason), there are always other staff around, and I rarely have to go out in the middle of the night.

:hi:

20. That's good then!
At least you didn't have to get out of your comfortable, soft, snuggly bed! :( (can ya tell I'm missing mine?)
