What does Jimmy Jazz think of the new Pontiac commercial?
They are using a CLASH song!!!!

I'm beside myself in disbelief.

1. We've been through this before, but we can do this again.
I do not know who owns the rights to the strummer portion of the strummer/jones library. However, my theory is this: Joe gave away so much stinkin' money during his lifetime (including when he was a piss poor 101er - he gave money to the people of Chile victimized by the Pinochet regime) that if someone - whether it be Lucy or Mick feels a need to earn a dollar or two from a clash ditty, then so be it.

This is a guy who accepted NO royalties from Sandinista so that a three album set could be sold at a single album price.

I fault no one if they want to use a few licks from "should I stay or should i go." Joe paid his dues - let him rest in peace and let his family live well from his hard work.

Now - back to the fun :P
