Favorite Edward Norton movie?

I really, really like this guy (and I've never done a poll).

I'll include as many as I can fit, but I favor the ones I have seen. :)

It was a toss up for me, b/t Death to Smoochy (it was brilliant) and American History X. I would choose AHX, because it dealth with social issues in a great way.

it is definately a tie between American History X and Fight Club. So to balance your vote, I went with American History X.

because I don't want Fight Club to win. I LOATHE that film.

Primal Fear was very good; that was the first film I saw him in, and thought he was brilliant in it.

Terrific movie and an outstanding performance by Norton -- the character's slow and steady transformation seems absolutely believable.

18. Red Dragon, then Primal Fear

although I haven't seen them all - I should because I really admire his performances.

Your question was better movie, so I chose Red Dragon, but I thought Primal Fear was an incredible performance. (Richard Gere spoiled it for me, or maybe the script, since he took way too long to figure it out for such a clever guy.)

Red Dragon was great, since it went back to more of the Harris vision of the Lecter series (psychological thriller rather than gory) and answered questions about Lecter's capture (not part of the book, but well done). Norton and Hopkins are incredible to watch. Plus, Ralph Fiennes and Emily Watson are brilliant in it.

24. "Primal Fear" was the first time I saw him,

and he totally blew me away! I thought that was a terrific movie with an amazing performance by Norton. I made sure to take note of his name so I could watch for him in other movies.

25. "Everyone Says I Love You"

Possibly Woody Allen's most berserk film, a flat-out musical which isn't always successful (Julia Roberts is mostly at sea), but had huge chunks of warmth, charm, and laugh-out-loud bits. And Norton, paired with Drew Barrymore as his fiancee, is wonderful, especially in a number where he sings "My Baby Just Cares For Me."

It's on my list of Top Ten Favorite Films.

Norton is outstanding in it. And as you are watching it you realize that you are seeing a truly masterful film.
