Need a computer geeks help!
Downloaded Windows XP SP2. Now when I go to check my bank account, the internet banking won't open at bank website.

Called the Bank and they said to go on Internet Explorer and go to tools, then internet options, then click advanced and unclick "Enable third pary extensions".

I did this and get into bank account in Internet Exporer, but if I am at MSN (where I go when I sign in) and go to bank website, I still can't go into internet banking (It says conectting to site and then "done" and has a blank page!).

Can anyone help? I'm a Dummy :silly:

1. I'm only half geek
First thing I would say is to try using a different browser, like Mozilla Firefox. Free to download and use. It still not might not work though. Firefox doesn't work on all sites.

I'm stumped. I can see it happening. I'll do some research see if I can find anything.

2. Try asking in Computer Help & Support
It's in the non-political forums. I had a Firefox problem, and someone helped me solve it.

Good luck!

:)

7. XP SP2 defaults the firewall on....
Check out the Security Center in the Control Panel... You might find out what is blocking you there.
