I am looking for a credit card processor for my business
Some of them like US bank are a real rip off.
Merchant Warehouse looks good.
Have you had any experience?

1. Check out Paymentech
There are a lot of sleazy operators out there who will basically sell you the terminal and the contract, then disappear when you have a problem.

4. I suppose I could do Internet only. Please answer me this:
When a customer comes into the shop, can I take his card and process
the sale via the Internet?

5. I've seen 3 internet merchant account sites and all allow you to
take credit cards locally.

Propay, charge.com (very expensive), and one other whose name I can't remember.

7. yes - but you would have to enter information instead of swiping.
That would not be fun. But I think they do have the machine as well - but I don't know anything about that part of their service.

8. I got mine through the local bank...
find out which company each local bank works with, then compare who has the best deal...

There is usually a monthly fee ($20+) plus a % of your sales.
