5. I like the one that almost got that woman in Denver arrested...

She had a bumper sticker on her truck that said "Fuck Bush" which is short, succinct, and ultimately true.

Shasta Bates was in a UPS store, when she was confronted by a man who spotted her bumper sticker on her truck and followed her into to the store to take umbrage with her.

I think she probably told him to do something to himself that was on her bumper sticker.

So this asshole goes outside and flags down an off duty uniformed Denver cop working security at this stupid strip mall.

He threatens to arrest her if she doesn't immediately remove the bumper sticker.

Apparently, the first amendment still counts every now and then.
But it's not going to be around for long.

7. Free Speech in CO

I was living in Boulder in the 80s and they asked everybody who had the bumper sticker which said, "Shit Happens" to please take it off because it offended some people. The request stood for 6 months then tickets would be given out. Some people just don't laugh at anything.

I keep my Kerry/Edwards sticker up too and I'm pleased to see many others around my area haven't taken theirs down either.
