2. I'm sorta the reverse
Used to go to a barber, but then I bought a Conair clipper, read the instructions, and cut my own hair. Took a little practice, but I got the cut nice and even all over.

3. I always...
... cut my own hair. With a Wahl with no guard. I've learned to do it pretty well - but once a few years back the wife and I were at a mattress store checking out the stuff.

We were talking to a friendly sales lady, and suddenly wife says "we need to go, we'll be back later".

I had no idea we needed to go but I could tell something was up so I went along. We got to the car and she says "you need to be more careful".

Turns out I'd left a stripe of longer hair on the back of my head that was quite noticable. I take a lot more care with it now :)

5. Well...
I used to have a mullet-style cut, hair down to my waist. El Nino put a stop to that real quick - it was unbearable in the heat.

But no matter how long you grow your hair, you still gotta trim the frizzies and wild hairs once in a while. Unless you're sporting dreads. Then it don't matter much.

6. Electric clippers exclusively.
A high-falutin' way of admitting that I'm cheap.

I always cut my own hair.
it started years and years ago as a way to have that much more money to buy pot with, but over time i got pretty good at it.

8. Where's the long hair hippy freak option?
Who needs to cut hair when you let it grow free?

15. Yeah, why is this men only?
I trim my own hair, mostly. It's really long, so I just pull it around in front of my face and hack off the split ends.

18. I'm trying to grow it long...
I did have the front trimmed and cleaned up a bit at the stylist at UWSP for four bones. I was sick of having to flip it all the time to get it out of my eyes.

19. always
i used to do it when it was long, all the same length (waist length) and i still do it now that it is only 1/8 inch all over.

total upkeep of long is sure a lot more of a hassle, but i'd do it in a flash if i could have it back.

22. Nope
I only go to the barber about every 6 months now. They just buzz the whole thing off, and I don't worry about my hair for a few months. I haven't had a haircut since August.
