Help me install my new hard drive!
yeah buddy, i plugged that joint in, and i go look in the device manager, and its there...but then i go to my computer to access the drive, and it ain't there...what tha dilly yo?

1. Did it come with an install disk?
Maybe it needs to be formatted.

5. aha, i always forget about those administrator tools
but i'll have no idea what to do in disk management, is there an add drive button or something?

7. Right click on the devices for menus.
it's all there, just check it out.

4. Go to "Disk Management"
Use help to find it for your OS.

From there you can partition and format the new drive. Have fun!
