How my short-term memory degrades:
I could not figure out why a poster named "Ignored" was posting messages with the text "Ignored" in an innocuous thread about the Beatles.

Until I remembered that I put someone on "Ignore" last Friday. :eyes: :dunce:

1. Well, it's a start. But you have a long way to go.

I used to have an iron-clad memory. Now it's shot to sh*t. Just normal age-related stuff. But the day's coming when Mr. A. and I go to the mall in my car and I'll head home without him, leaving him stranded and not at all amused. It's just a matter of time.

2. Yeesh!
The day I forget Mrs R. at the mall is the day my life insurance policy pays off. :scared:

4. HA!
;-)

Steve Martin has a great essay on memory problems over 50 in his book "Pure Drivel". I laughed all the way through it, even though I'm still a couple of years short of 50.

I'm not one to invoke the 'Ignore' as a rule, so I forgot all about it.

I'll probably 'de-Ignore' today. If I remember to. :)

13. That's beautiful butterfly wings to you, buddy.
Seriously, I know how you feel about s.t. memory. Now that I'm over 40 my kids are my peripheral brain and schedule keepers.

14. I swear I got just a tinge of brain damage from lack of oxygen
in the I.C.U. I couldn't for the life of me remember my daughter's best friend's (she comes home with us almost every afternoon) name yesterday. You are not alone. :hi:
