10. I love You Don't Have to Cry and Long Time Gone -- but my
love for those songs grew when I heard them live on the "No Nukes" soundtrack -- they were great!

8. In hindsight, yes
However, when it originally came out there were shouts of "what???" all over the place. With Crosby coming from The Byrds, and Stills from Buffalo Springfield, most folks did NOT expect stuff like "Marrakesh Express." Many die hard Byrds and Springfield fans were quite disappointed with it.

Obviously, it has stood the test of time and become a true classic snapshot of it's era, but it wasn't always so.

Imagine my surprise when I heard them at Woodstock... :)

13. Hippy.
David Crosby used to be in the Byrds. Stephen Stills was a brilliant guitarist, some of his solos resonate eternally. Graham Nash, while with the Hollies, produced some of the most enduring pop songs of the '60s.

Yet the three of them together accomplished the singular task of making Neil Young suck. Bastards.
