6. Starbuck's entire shtick is stolen from and based on the euro cafe.
In other words, there are 100,000 "Italian equivalent(s) of Starbucks" in Europe, and they've all been there since the late 1800's, when the "concept" of being able to leave one's dinky flat and hang out with friends took hold...

And in France, Italy, et al sizes are referred to as "demi", "midi" or "grande" pretty much anywhere, and there are a gazillion other choices because they serve alcohol and, unlike Starbuck's, each has their own "style", reflecting the "hood they're in...
