Its not big or bad or ugly or anything. The funny thing is that since I had heard that a change in a mole could be a sign of cancer, I didn't want to have it taken off. I thought it was an indicator of cancer anywhere in my body... not just in the mole.
On the top of my right foot is a birthmark that looks like South America. When I was a kid, my mom kept trying to wipe it off because it looked like dirt.
I was told by the doctor that it would disappear before my teens. The doctor was wrong. I'm 38 and still have it, although it is considerably lighter than when I was a child.
8. I have a birthmark like that on my left forearm
It's not very dark, and I'm fair skinned, but it's noticeable. I do have a perfect "beauty mark" above the corner of my upper lip a la Marilyn Monroe, so I didn't completely strike out in the birth mark department.
