1. What was/is the name for the individual unit that was at your booth that
you could pick songs from and did they all feed into one jukebox unit?

9. They're called "wallboxes" and they fed into one central jukebox
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 07:24 PM by mcscajun
They are also called "remote selectors".

Which is why when you punched in your 3 tunes for a quarter at the White Castle, you had a long wait AND you almost never heard the tunes you'd picked in order.

Selectomatic was one brand 'nickname' for these units.

10. No White Castle here but after a few times not hearing my selections, I
saved my money and tried to enjoy someone else's expenditure.

14. I am a sports writer
I'm in the office tonight just taking phone calls. The high school games should be starting to come in soon but from the time I get her at about 3:30 p.m. until those games get called in around 830-900, it's kind of boring and I just get to chat away!

Who are you rooting for in the Aussie Open?

I'm a big Hewitt fan.

16. Safin is a cutie
His game doesn't seem to what to come back. He's lost a step or two.

On the ladies side, I like Serena or Venus.

The Pilot Pen Women's Tennis Tourney comes to New Haven, CT every august and the newspaper I work for covers it out the ass.
I've met and talked to so many of the players. Some are really cool, some are real divas.

21. I met Venus (Serena never played in New Haven)
She was mad cool but had that attitude about her, like she knew she was hot shit.

Lindsey was diva-ish but very nice and genuine.

Sharapova didn't really turn me on. Not a good interview. Gave stupid responses. She's hot though but I think that Taitana Golovin is hotter and she was a better interview.

Capriati is cool but at times gives stupid answers. She's funny though and made references to how she loves the food and nitelife in New Haven.

Man, there's so many more..let me go answer this phone...BRB

18. oh.. I do disagree on Safin's game
I think he still has it. His mind is his problem. He can just lose it at times. If he is on, he can beat anyone.

instead of "the best ingredients on earth." Does that mean they're buying their shit from United Fruit and Archer Daniels Midlands?
