RANT: joggers who wear black at night.
JEEBUS. I got no problem sharing the road. but if you are gonna jog after dark, wear light clothing, flashlight, something to let me know you are there. I almost ran down a jogger, dressed totally in black. I was only going 30 mph. Your body will get a lot more damage than my car.

:grr:

4. Agreed!

I how 2 of these idiots in my subdivision...plus I live rural and we don't have any street lights.

One very early morning, after almost hitting them I stopped and talked to them....I told them if they were too stupid to wear light colors and reflective clothing, I would consider it "natural selection" if I hit them.

Bad part...I knew both of them, but I was so pissed.

Good part....they don't jog in my subdivision anymore!

Cheers,
Kim

5. For some reason athletics has taken the Goth scene by storm.
Sure, you're mad about it, but you try to jog in knee high elevator boots, leather pants, velvet jacket, and try to keep your white face makeup from running.

8. Why do they run IN the road.
Or, more precisely, on the road . There's a perfectly good sidewalk that I'll let you have all to yourself, mr/ms. jogger.

Is the road somehow softer than the concrete of the sidewalk?

Do they realize that the crown/sideslope of the road will fuck up their joints/tendons/ligaments more than the concrete of the sidewalk? What's a cobweb every so often compared to getting run over or tendonitis?
