Poll question: Bald guys who are cool with their baldness or guys who fight it..
What's sexier?

At my present age I would know if I was going bald or not, and I'm not. But if I were, I'd just cut all off and keep it clean. No hair growth schemes or medical procedures. I say. what's the point? If it doesn't want to stick around, why bother keeping it?

Now some guys will do anything to fight it. You know they'll use combovers, hair plugs, medicines, or even voodoo rituals to stop what happens naturally.

How about you? What would you think would be the best way to go.

1. Go another path
it's what's inside that counts. Your two examples are proof of that.

2. shaved bald with a nice hat on
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 02:41 PM by eleonora
unfortunately my best friend who's 25 is already bald, so he shaved it all and wears cool hats. It works, the girls are all over him...but then again he's good looking too.

edit: girls *and* guys..oh yeah, can't forget ;p

3. my husband is bald
he started shaving it at 25 due to premature balding. I had never really noticed bald men before him but now i think they're really sexy....especially with a bit of a tummy.

4. If the guy is sexy, he'll be sexy regardless
Poor Donald with that Chia pet on his head. It's not only sad, it's a National joke.

I think it looks nice, and I love touching a bald head. It's honest, and confident, and very sleek looking.

5. Trump looks like a fool.
If he didn't have so much money, most women would never give him a second glance.

All cool people who were bald. And Robert Smith, for that matter. C'mon, you know that hair isn't real.

9. But you do have to admit that Billy Corgan looks like a replicant

Some people shouldn't do bald if they don't have to.

11. I've been losing hair since I was a teenager
I was significantly bald by 25. Never worried much about it. I just started combing it straight back each morning. Too lazy to shave-- plus I've always had problems shaving-- too cheap to try any medical treatments or rugs. I don't even cut it anymore, I just pull it back in a pony tail, snip off the ends now and then, and go about my life.

Whether it looks good or bad someone else would have to say. I like the way I look, and though I don't date anyone, I've had enough opportunities to prove that my hair wouldn't be a hindrance. At 39, if I started dating again, the women I would be attracted to would have other criteria than hair, I suspect. And if they didn't, I wouldn't be attracted to them anyway.

Even at 29 I never had the feeling that I'd have trouble dating because of my hair. Some women didn't like it, I'm sure, but then again I never expected to be attractive to everyone.

Just my input. Nice picture of Patrick Stewart.

He wouldn't look as good as Patrick Stewart, but he'd be much more attractive...

17. I don't know what the problem with baldness is - it looks cool to me.
I've got hair, but one day I might not, and on that day, I'll be happily bald.

Plus, it's a lot cheaper.

Once every 2 months I'll go to the barber and get a number on the clipper all the way around my head. I love it.

22. Hey, I'm going bald. It's hereditary. Why fight it?
You can't change who you are. I don't care what my wife says, heredity is as heredity does. I don't plan on getting a penis reduction, and I don't plan on covering up my baldness! :)

24. How good bald looks depends on the head shape, but overall
I'd say anyone who wears baldness with confidence will be that much sexier than someone who appears embarrassed or ashamed, using toupees and combovers.

And, by the way, Patrick Stewart has the perfect head shape for the bald look!

25. Once I realized...
... I was going bald and there was nothing I could do about it, I started keeping it close-cropped. There is nothing sillier-looking to me that a man who keeps the same haircut he always had with a big dead spot on top. You have hair or you don't. I don't - and I rather have hair, but then there are lots of advantages to being bald too - especially the fact that it is easy to maintain and wind is not an issue :)
