Or maybe just put a flame under the garlic soup while you're up.

6. Perhaps worth noting that I'm a teacher
And I'm honour-bound to smack you on the nose with a rolled up newspaper.

Ah well. At least DU is educational. Promise me you'll learn something today.

13. I missed Short fiction and Political theory classes
DU definitely make up for those.

I learned that missing college classes to read all sorts of stuff on DU has actually made me smarter, but my once great GPA better not suffer. This means extra work on the weekend. :)

And I work weekends, too, so Friday is irrelevant to me.

5. Sick. How?
Flu? Bad Cold? Ok, give with the details. My MS has been acting up for 3 weeks. We'll be miserable together. Ok?

Now for the ask anything question. What is a standard deviation?

12. Actually,
The Clinic this morning informs me I have walking pneumonia. While it will not rival the searing pains of MS (a coworker struggles with that, btw) it is rather amazingly miserable.

Standard deviation of the mean: Sadism. For examples please check the archives of the GD.

17. Good Answer. I Like the Way You Think
Apologies to Sam K for stealing that line.

However, as one who's livelihood depends on statistics, i somehow think i may have been insulted. Not sure, though. Hmmmmmmm.

24. Yeah, I Knew That
I was just kidding, too! I know, for many many years, that when people hear "statistics" their eyes glaze over and a pained expression covers their visage. So, calling it sadism, is actually something that's probably crossed my mind.

21. hey! my current flu/cold/faux meningitis/general pestilence
has become a head cold. Better company misery never thought it would get. ;-)

Ok, so, a question...how soon are you going back so that you can spread it to the miserable buggers that gave it to you in the first place?

Oh wait, you're college level...

At this age, they're not "miserable buggers."

They're buggery experts.

I highly recommend the garlic soup. If I can figure a way to get a thermos-full through cyberspace it'll be on it's way.

We've got sodomy and the lash. Where's the rum?

The garlic soup sounds divine, but bear in mind that Ms Uly is a former goth - and one with whom I'd like to snuggle this weekend. :7

I'll toss you a couple of Vitamin C and zinc tablets, if that will help. (Of course, the way I throw, they might land in Idaho.)
