2. 90%
The other 10% don't have kids (yet).

You have kids, you gotta have Harry Potter

I'd bet 90% of Christians allow their kids to celebrate Halloween in some way too.

5. I'm not sure I understand the point of this poll
Is Harry Potter supposedly bad for Christians?
I think I missed something.

i saw that bible poll and asked howmanny have head this book series to contrast with that poll, and yes some of the hardcore fundies denounce harry potter as induction into witchcraft, and satanic rituals

13. and really need to be killed in my opinion
if your willing to go to such insane levels over a book (one book in particular lead to thousands of deaths as it started a hysteria that witches existed) your better off out of the gene pool

7. Most of the teenagers I know from church have read it, many
are addicted to purchasing the crapmerchandise marketed to them, their parents, that's another story. I know two adult men, avid readers of science fiction and phantasy who've read them all cover to cover. There are probably another dozen or so who I suspect have read parts of it and enjoyed them. Don't know anyone from our little community that objects to it.

And their kids will still watch SpongeBob Squarepants too. The hard-core fundamentalists are given far more credence by the media than is warrented. the actual number of people who follow them is a drop in the bucket. They're just loud, persistent, and have a "bestest buddy" in the White House.
