Help me pick a movie at the dollar theater
Here are my choices.

Birth
Christmas with the Kranks
The Grudge
Ladder
Ray
Shall We Dance?
Shark Tale
Taxi

I am leaning toward Ray but what is Birth about?

It's kind of between Ray and Birth unless someone can convince me otherwise.

2. I haven't seen any of these
but from reviews I would highly recommend Ray. Birth is a very bizarre film about a woman's belief her husband has been reborn as a 12 year old. There are some very creepy scenes in it. I would stick with Ray.

3. OK
By Ladder I assume you mean Ladder 49.
Great (but heart wrenching) fire fighter drama.
Very graphic and not a "feel good" movie but exciting as hell.

Ray has it going on.

Birth is a woman's dead husband returns as a ten year old boy and gets to sit in a bathtub with a naked Nicole Kidman.

I'd pass on everything else.
Especially the Kranks and the Shark Tale crap.

7. definitely, Ray: definitely going to win the Oscar
Chris Rock is going to steal an Oscar for Jamie Foxx if he doesn't actually get enough votes. Hey, Katherine Harris did it in 2000.
