Does anybody eat chocolate cake with butter?
My mother spreads butter on plain chocolate cake and I learned it from her. (Good role model, take that dieticians!)

4. You want to know something really good?
Eat a chocolate bar and then smoke a menthol cigarette before you have anything to drink. It'll probably send you to hell when you die, but man is it good!

9. How do you manage that?
Cake is so fluffy and cream cheese is so thick. It seems like it would be impossible to get the cream cheese to spread.

12. I use the spreadable cream cheese,
not the blocks. I melt it a little in the microwave & then beat it until it's the consistency of frosting.

13. Ah, I have been enlightened
I like cream cheese frosting on cake. I will have to try regular cream cheese now. Gracias, senorita.

14. I like the cream cheese frosting too
but during a late night munchie attack, I didn't have the powdered sugar to make that. So I just used the cream cheese alone. Found a new thing I liked. :)

11. Butter is the basis for butter frosting,
so that is not so surprising. I've never tried it.

15. Never tried it
but it sounds like something I'd like...

I love to drizzle a little heavy whipping cream on top of a slice of chocolate cake,, enough to make a little puddle, does that count? It's sort of "liquid butter"...
