2. Is that like when you see lightning with a snow storm?
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 11:32 PM by Zing Zing Zingbah
I've seen lightning with freezing rain before. I don't think I've seen it with snow.

BTW, this was during the hellish winter of 1998, when we received freezing rain for two weeks straight. That was the suckiest winter break ever!

14. Ive experienced it once.
The best lightning storm was one on 9-11 this year. I was at Dodger Stadium, and at sunset a huge storm was going on over the mountains by Pasadena. The entire sky was deep orange and the massive clouds were blue and purple with mega-bolts. It was a big late season game with the Cardinals, but people were watching the light show for about 1/2 hour instead. Combined with the overwhelming 9/11 security, it made for a strange omen-filled evening.

10. We rarely get
thunder snow but it is always so special when you do. We had thunder sleet a couple of weeks ago, I don't recommend that. Let us know if you get pink lightning.
