5. I moved
overseas to Ireland. Basically, they piggyback on the UK quarantine laws, which were modified two years ago so American dogs wouldn't have to sit six months in quarantine...but you have to get them microchipped, then vaccinated for rabies, then have a blood test done six months before bringing the dog over. We told our vet the order to do this in, but he thought he knew better and fucked it up. By the time we realized he did it in the wrong order, it cost us a few months. So my mother and father in law watched him, and brought him over today. They had to do an 11 hour layover in London for customs...they are saints!!!!!

Here's a picture of him

to a new home. But he's happy again now.

12. I am so happy that you are reunited with your dog.
Friends of the family moved to England many years ago and their dog had to go through that damn quarantine. It was VERY difficult on all parties.

And I love boxers. They look so fierce but are really oversized lap dogs. That drool a lot.

15. Can't imagine that.

Our dog would be crushed in quarantine. And you're spot on about boxers. Luckily, mine doesn't drool unless you're feeding him a hamburger (which he only gets on birthdays).
