How do you express your creativity?
I like to use words. Not very good at pictures.
How do you, in your everyday life, express creativity?

1. verbal-visual
Generally verbally, but occasionally visually. Personally don't have a lot of talents with music, although some family members do.

It wasn't until grad school that I really learned how to write. Still have some weak points, but doesn't every real writer?

In line with the theme of the board here, it is sad to see the pool of creative talent, mostly in the IT industry, that led to the great boom of the late 1990s be squandered to unemployment or to foreign outsourcing of IT.

2. Multiple ways...
I "reverse engineer" websites to see how certain things are done then try to improve upon them.

I freelance write on the music industry, radio, and webmastering.

3. I dabble in computer-generated fractal art
and other computer-based creative endeavors. Until I lost my job due to chronic illness, I expressed myself on a daily basis through my work (landscaping, irrigation design and installation).

11. I've never seen that one before. Thanks!
There's a whole list of fractal programs I've played with, such as Ultra Fractal, TieraZon, Sterling Ware, and so on. But my favorite is a flame generater included in Kai's Power Tools 5, called FraxFlame. It also includes another cool fractal program called FraxPlorer. I access them via Photoshop.

5. In creative ways. ;)
Seriously though, one can look at their life as a work of art.

I like talking to strangers in creative ways. :)

But more traditionally, I paint and make music.

13. I like to write
I have been having a bit of a block lately and really feel the need to write a fictionalized version of my life that captures the truth of everything better than the actual events and cannot think of writing much else. (My writing on DU is practice but it is non fiction and doesn't come together as a work of art.) I am not as visual of a person as most people and got turned off to visual art in junior high by the overly critical art teacher. My husband bought me some colored pencils and art paper, though, so I am making an attempt. I also like music. I have an electronic key board that I play sometimes.
