Select "Norway" as country and "Haugesund" as city for the start of your trip.

And "Norway" as country and "Trondheim" as city for the end of your trip.

Gas up the car...

why am I not surprised that it is a MS product?

9. Well
Either that, or do not drive from Haugesund to Trondheim, I guess.

5. Oh, That is Great!
I once had Mapquest give directions to the Adams Morgan neighborhood of DC. It instructed you to go down Connecticut Avenue, turn left on Adams Mill Rd., and make another left on Rock Creek Parkway. Unfortunately, Adams Mill is the middle of a bridge at that point and Rock Creek Parkway is over 50 feet udnerneath. Almost sent it out to a bunch of people.

Is it possible that Trondheim is isolated and has no roads leading to it? I ran into some of that on Newfoundland. In some places, you simply can't there from here.

6. nope
And "reverse directions" leads to an usable result. It is clearly a bug -either in the database or in the software itself.
