3. My freinds say I should grow my hair out and
get a perm... then I'd look exactly like Napoleon Dynamite. I've never seen it, so naturally I don't know why I would want to do that.

7. The whole point is that you can't totally relate to Napoleon.
That's what makes him an engaging character to me. His entire life is several steps BEYOND where most people have boundaries. I mean, don't you already know that? GOSH!

10. I relate to him, but not completely.
I mean, I have been in all of those situations before, hell that was a lot like high school to me. But Napoleon takes things just a bit farther than I think most people would. I mean, that's his charm, I think.

Can I have your tots?
Yes, and then he puts em in his pocket, eww gross.
Ok I admit that I would ask someone for their food, but I'd never put em in my pocket.

18. I guess I expected more because of the rave reviews on DU.
same thing with Shaun of the Dead. I watched it and was like ..huh? (shrug) I never like what the masses like it seems. I thought friends and family were going to disown me because I didn't like any of the Austin Powers movies either. I guess am not a comedy person. :P

15. You really have to watch it more than once, in my opinion
to fully appreciate the richness of it.

The first time I saw it, I laughed out loud exactly once, when Rex of Rex Kwon Do says "You think anyone's gonna give me a roundhouse kick with these bad boys on? FUGGEDABOUTIT!" (He's referring to his red, white and blue American flag pants.) That killed me.

I thought it was sweet, but not overly funny.

Then it came out on DVD and I watched it a couple more times and found it more and more hilarious every time I saw it. God, the dialogue.

20. That's another one of my favorite parts.
The relationship between Kip and LaFawnduh is so unexpected and sweet. And when he starts wearing do-rags and big chunky silver jewelry and saying "Peace out" it just cracks me up.
