1. yeah, but they had the bases loaded with no outs.....
....after scoring the two runs and produced nothing. you can't do that against the braves and expect to win. it's frustrating....the cubs did that twice yesterday, lucky for us we had wood on the mound. today we have no such luxury.

Only two times in Baseball history did a team come back and win after loosing the first game in the NL First Round playoffs.

3. And now Hampton has found his groove! Struck out 6 in a row!
How many called 3rd strikes with the bases loaded? This is the damn playoffs. They have got to be swinging! You've to take advantage of these situations when you play a team as potent as the Braves in the playoffs.

4. Braves are starting to choke already
:scared: If I owned a major league baseball team I'd put up that red, white and blue trim around the stadium every time they came to my stadium.

5. Maybe it mentally makes the choke
The Iowa coach painted the opponent's locker room pick because he read/heard/something somewhere where the color pink mentally does something that is not good, I can't remember. The announcers talked about this during the ASU/Iowa game.

6. I think it's the crowd's
Because they usally start slow in the beginning of the season. In the begiining of the season everyone has a opening day and everyone and their brother show's up to that. They'll struggle through that too. :scared:

14. You got a split on the road...
...that's a good start. Prior goes next, right? Prior v. Maddux? Nice! :-)

17. Game 3 will be very tough for me
I have to root for the Cubs, but Greg Maddux (former Cub!) is my all-time favorite player. Worst-case scenario: Cubs pound Maddux but lose anyway. :scared: I hope Prior pitches a shutout and wins 1-0. :-) --Peter
