1. Disney, like all corporations, care only about money. If gaydays brings in
the money then they will continue. If gaydays does not bring in money then it will not continue. Plain and simple as that.

The reason Rush is on ESPN is because he increases the ratings. If the ratings go down then he will be gone but not before then.

:silly:

2. Gay Day at Mall of America was stopped due to the Christian Nazis...
You're right, money matters most. But the Christian Nazis probably proved they had MORE money than the homosexuals. But District 202 is not a large organization... :-(

Sad, really, gay day at Camp Snoopy (which was just a 5 hour event, from 7pm to midnight) one day per year was rather fun.

It's a big money-maker for them. By a stroke of pure luck, I ended up at the one in Florida last year and it was CRAZY packed with gay and gay-friendly folks in red shirts. (on edit: oh yeah, there were also a few families who looked like they'd do more research prior to their next vacation. :))

6. If they stop gay days....
It will be because of the rude idiots that think a child geared amusement park is the place to have sex in public. Those gays that do stupid shit like that give the rest of them a bad name. When all you hear about are the pervy ones, then that's what the freeper christian nazis think of the lot of them. IT's sick and wrong, but that's our world. If you're going to do something stupid like that, don't bitch when everyone has that perception of you. (and if you see it, and don't try to put a stop to it, then you're just as guilty of it.) Gay people rock. And its sad that those few give the rest of them a bad name.

7. I dont' believe that gay days is an official Disney event . . .
as I recall, it was originally organized by gay groups who just decided to all converge at Disneyworld on a given day . . . Disney had nothing to do with it, other than allowing paying customers to enter the park . . .

8. you're right, of course
it's an unofficial gathering (which admittedly is online in many places) which, iirc, was created by a small group of people which grew by word of mouth. There is nothing making sense from a business standpoint that can be done to stop "Gay Days" as it's a customer created event.

They'll lose a BIG chunk of money if they do anything to 'ban' it.
