1. Youre a skins fan?
Sorry Cat I thought you would be supporting the Falcons being in Georgia and btw I think Vick is great too. Good luck to the skins they are technically my team but I root for the steelers too.

10. If they suck
Edited on Wed Oct-01-03 03:35 PM by VermontDem2004
then why don't you try out for the team? I mean if a team sucks you must have the talents to be able to make it on that team. :)

2. Sorry Cat, my QB is back with a vengence
Washington has played crappy teams where our first 2 games of the season were with the last 2 Super Bowl champs.

We're back and we'll spank your skins asses!!

3. No such thing as crappy teams in the NFL
All of these players worked hard through college to be in the NFL, the talent level is high that you are lucky to pull of a win against another team. Plus only final season records will fully indicate if a team did good or poor this year record wise, not the first 4 games of the season.

6. I have to disagree with you
San Diego qualifies as a crappy team, so does Chicago.

And that's not just from the first 4 games of this seaon, but includes the 32 games from the last two seasons.

9. Why would you disagree with that?
Edited on Wed Oct-01-03 03:26 PM by VermontDem2004
A team to qualify as "crappy" means you can just roll over them, they are a team with professional athletes who were all-americans in college. It takes alot of practice and studying of game film to defeat a team like San Diego with alot of talent. Btw last year, San Diego went 8 wins and 8 looses, that is not "crappy". Plus they got Drew Brees, LaDanian Tomlinson, David Boston, Kwamie Lassiter and if you think those 4 players are "crappy", then you have to give me a hit of some of that stuff your smoking. Plus 2 years ago Chicago went 13 wins and 3 looses, which is not "crappy". They have Kordell Stewart, A-Train, Marty Booker, David Terrell, Brian Urlacher among others.

13. Hey, VtDem! Have You Seen The Bears?
As a fan of the team, i can tell you it's going to be a LONG, miserable season. Thanks to the Cubs for making the football season ignorable for now.

This team IS "crappy" and will be a hole in the schedule for their opponents. Teams are writing "W" on the schedule right now.

They have played horribly in every phase of the game. The GM is the problem. He's the crappiest of the lot.

15. You have no idea do you?
Edited on Wed Oct-01-03 03:42 PM by VermontDem2004
It doesn't matter if you are a fan or not, your team has lots of talent, it appears Dan Juaran doesn't know what to do with it. But the Bears did play some top teams this year so I wouldn't just dump them yet, they played Minnesota(4-0), San Francisco (only 3 points in two games is what seperates them from being 3-1 to 1-3), and Green Bay. But it is tough for an NFL team to beat another team with the talent the Bears have, they may not be the team to beat, but even the worst team can pull a win off you, and then announcers are like "Oh my god it's surprising!" Well, no, they are a profressional football team, anything is possible. Everyone was shocked Cinncy beat the Browns, I wasn't, their defense has really improved but getting rid of Takeo Spikes really put a hole in their D. But Cinncy has great recievers and they have a great running back, they just need to put Carson Palmer in there and they should do fine.

18. Next!
Try to be a little more insulting! You're lecturing me and don't even know our coaches name. Let's get this straight, and try to follow along shall we?

All talent is relative in professional sports. ALL the teams have talent. Some have more than others. Some get more out of the talent they have than others. Some have better schemes, some make better adjustments during the game.

Just because a team has talent doesn't mean they don't stink AS A TEAM.

If that's too hard a concept for you to grasp, that's a real shame.

I think you may be the one who has "no idea".
The Professor

20. I wasn't being insulting
But you said team's are already marking 'W' on their schedule, I explained it takes alot of practice, film watching, and preperation to even play a close game. Sorry I misspelled your coach's name it's Dick Jauron right? But with so much parity going on these days and so much talent coming from college these days no win is an easy win, I wouldn't just throw away their season just yet, they played tough teams and with 13 games left in the season they can very well turn it around. That defense does need to improve, but they don't suck. :hi:

4. Sorry Cat, but Washington is going down
McNabb is going to have something to prove and Philly's "great defense" (Rush quote) will be the difference.

Take the over/under on the game, it's currently at 39. Philly might just score that many points on their own.
