1. Steelers, 31-21.
The Jets will definitely not disgrace themselves, but the Steelers are in a steamrollin' state of mind these days.

2. Stillers 17-11
While down 14-3, Jets score a TD with about 6 min to go, go for two & and make it. Pittsburgh salts it away with a long drive and a FG.

3. Steelers 21-10
It's not going to be an easy game for the Steelers, but they're going to win. But of course, this is the Steelers, kings of blowing it, so they may just lose.

13. Steelers 24-17
It'll be a dogfight, but the Stillers will edge the Jets. I'm trying to remain as stoic as possible through the playoffs.

Pennington doesn't finish the game

Big Ben the Magnificant is sacked 3 times

Martin is held to under 100 yards

Plax catches 2 TDs

17. They get a pass this week, but next week could be very different.
Especially if they have to go up against Bellichek.

Let's say 17-14. Rookie QB (he's very good, but still a rook in his first playoff game) + an impossible winning streak + a week off to get out of sync + a team they just may be tempted to look past= upset

That being said, if either team plays the way they did in the first game, the other team should win easily.

Flame away, I do detect an "anti-jet" slant on these here boards.

:P

The Jets are my second favorite team. I adopted them when my team's season self destructed. Heck I've adopted the Jets in previous years too. I just don't see how they beat Pittsburgh. They already lost to the Steelers once this year, and while past isn't necessarily prologue it's pretty close.

21. I think they're capable
But you are correct, if they play like they did the first game they're toast. If Pennington can throw down field I think they have a decent shot.

The "anti-jet" thing was tongue in cheek. There are a lot of Steeler fans around here.

22. I could help the Jets
by calling my bookie and betting on the Steelers.

I seem to be able to curse teams by laying money on them.

I'm taking the Colts and the points. I just hope there are any points to be had. At first it was Colts +2.5 and now it is down to Colts +1.5

The money people seem to like the Colts as do I. Of course, it could all be hype. Indy hasn't won at Foxboro for ages.

24. Ah, but...
my rooting for the Jets would trump your bet....

See, when not backing the Jets, I have a rooting interest in the Cubs and Cleveland Cavaliers. I think you see the pattern.

28. Steelers, what a joke
They thought that a rookie quarterback, Cowher and home field advantage would get them a win? These fans clearly don't know anything about the past.

29. Pennington has looked decent..
But I wouldn't say he was fantastic...

Both Touchdowns by the Jets this game.. has been from the punt return team and the defense.

Not saying that makes a difference... either way.. they are still winning. Damn it.. my 28-7 prediction looks so foolish now.

30. As a life-long Steelers fan, I'm used to getting my heart broken
ALthough it's not over until it's over, this is why no team has ever won a superbowl with a rookie QB

Colts vs. Patriots tomorrow is the real Super Bowl.
