1. Am I Northeast Or Mid Atlantic
There's some rule about the Mason-Dixon Line that I can't remember right now. I think it makes Virginia and Maryland part of the "South"... but that doesn't seem quite right.

16. Mason-Dixon Line
is between MD and PA. So, you're in the South, or the Mid-Adlantic. Take your pick.

Give me a break. There's a lot more to this country than just the coasts.

9. yes, that's actually what it's called
The region above the South and between the coasts is called The Interior.

14. I call it the Midwest
That region west of the Mississippi and east of the Rockies, and north of Texas.

I would also list the Southwest as a region.

17. Ummm
Odd, since those of us who live in that HUGE stretch call it "North Central/Upper Midwest", "Ohio Valley" and "Great Plains". :P

18. "What it's called" by WHOM?
You have the Midwest, Northern Plains, the Mountain states, the Ozarks, Appalachia, the Great Lakes, etc. All of these would qualify as the "Interior", which does a great injustice to them all.

4. Can we get a seperate category for the Northwest?
Washington and Oregon don't really have much in common with California or Arizona.
I would vote Northwest if it was a choice.

10. nope, sorry
There aren't enough states to compose an entire region calling itself the Northwest.

I didn't make the rules, so don't blame me.

11. Who did make the rules?
Last time I checked Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska=the great Northwest. Not a lot of names of states, but in land mass we put the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to shame. Got a problem with that? :-)
