Question for English teachers:
Is it Democratic party. Or the Democratic Party? (Upper or lower-case "p" for party?)

2. I Would Argue You Could Use Either
"Democratic Party" would be the capitalized proper name of the party. I think this would be the preferred usage.

However, "Democratic" could also be a capitalized adjective describing the word "party" used as a common noun.

4. Capitalize the "P", please
as it refers to a specific party: Green Party, Republican Party, American Independant Party, Nazi Party, Toga Party....

5. Upper
It's "Democratic Party" otherwise you'd just be out dancing and getting drunk with a bunch of liberals.
For rightwingers it's "Democrat Party." I don't know why, except to deny Dems the opportunity to actually be (lower case) democratic.

Everyone come along, we're going to the Democratic party! Woohoo!

Yeah, why do they always say "the Democrat Party" -- I friggin hate that. (That's probably why they say it, LOL.)

9. Saying Democrat instead of Democratic is a form of bulying.

It's also a sign that they have a frame-of-reference that cannot be challenged.
