Quitters unite
Anyone else here quit smoking recently? I'm on day 4, and I seem to be doing alright.

3. I'm on Day 4, too!
I quit for 5 months last year and am still mad at myself for starting up again. We can do it.

I'm right here with you!

5. Good work!
I quit for 4 months last year before I caved (that temptress wife of mine lured me with nicotine ;) )

4. Quitting is easy. It takes a man to live with cancer.

7. Excellent.
I don't know why, but it seems easy this time. Even with Nicorette, it seemed tougher in the past.

11. I think arcane1 and Skittles
both quit for the new year.

Hang in there. The first week SUCKS big time, but it really gets better after that. I avoided alcohol and other smokers the first few months until I felt strong enough in my resolve.

I never thought I would be able to quit, but I'll celebrate my third anniversary of being smoke-free in May.
