List of Celebrity Repukes

There was some concern that Sarah Michelle Gellar and Lyle Lovett were Repukes. Sadly, they are both on this list. Luckily, I care about neither of them. (although there are a few surprises on the list)

5. A majority of the actors and musicians are second rate anyway.

A few are good. But most suck. Athletes and others I cannot denegrate as much. Mainly because most athletes are Republican to begin with.

Wasn't Wagner (the composer, not Robert) an anti-Semite of all things? No one's banned his work based on that, AFAIK.

And that's probably the way it should be. It's about the art, not the artist.

I mean, sure, I'm totally pioughed and shocked that Lyle Lovett's a bushkisser, but he's free to do as he wishes and, well, what am I gonna do about it? Boycott his art because I don't like his opinions about politics? No, I prefer to boycott his work if I think it sucks.

8. only one of the Top 5 paid athletes of 2004 made the list

Peyton Manning.. the others (Shaq, Michael Jordan - yes him!, Michael Schumacher (ok he's German), and Tiger Woods are not on the list.

9. I need more proof

Just seeing a name on a list does not convince me. Especially when i don't know where the list came from.
