I posted here around the election, but got turned off of politics after Nov 2nd. I am ready to be talking about politics again, plus I am looking to post on another active internet forum because I was banned from GameFAQS for being an underage user when I joked that I was a fetus posting from inside my mother's womb. (I am 17, just so I dont get banned from here!) I cant wait to get involved a bit more here- looks like they have expanded the non-political sections of DU, too so I can talk about other stuff without hearing moronic comments in movie threads by fundies about how all morals are derived from religion and whatnot. Sorry if you folks dislike "hi!" threads, but I just thought I would be egotistical and call attention to myself.

Yeah, There are a lot of politically oriented kids at my school- very intelligent and articulate on both sides, but unfortunately there are those who think that because they cannot vote they are allowed to not care about politics. Not being able to vote doesn't mean anything- heck, being able to vote doesn't mean your voice is heard. I volunteered here in Wisconsin doing phone bank stuff, etc. Very fun, i hope to do more in the future.
